BEFORE THE BID
If you think my item’s description is lacking essential information just feel free to ask for them or even more photos.
If needed, I’d be pleased to share hints about skills required, tools, useful references and anything I can do to help your decision’s process.
To ask questions use the box below please, but must register with “delcampe” first.
“Delcampe” works like other auction sites and will assist during your subscription process and afterwards, for all your buyer /seller activities.
The support team and the members’ forum promptly answer your questions solving doubts about getting started at “Delcampe”, its policy and technical tricks.
At first glance you won’t see many of my feedbacks but more than that imo count all those great relationships I had (and still have) with people from all over the (modelling) world.
If you just want to, feel free to make a lower offer proposal on a lot of auctions, or a trade for something you have and want to get rid of: anything having a sense will be taken in due and respectful consideration, and the ensuing deal treated in respect of “delcampe" ‘s rules.
PAYMENT
Payment is possible through “electronic wallets” like:
“Postepay” in Euros, 1E “flat” fee (Italy only)
“Moneybookers” in Euros
“Paypal” in US$, ask first
For the latest I’ll submit (through message board or personal email address) the currency conversion (reference: “xe.com”)
I’d better avoid (for both of us!) personal checks or cash in the Post.
For the first you have to add 10,50E commissions for my Bank to clear, plus some % for currency conversion (if not in Euros)
For the second, risk is always there (post employees have trained fingers!) but if you’re absolutely compelled to, I’ll dare to suggest the best methods learnt from modellers worldwide.
(For instance in those cases your wife/fiancée has put the complete embargo on your collection, gaining absolute control of all bank/cc transactions!! ;-))) )
Needless to say I don’t assume responsibility, any kind, for whatever might happen to the envelope.
(or, maybe worse, if the “enemy” discovers the trick!!)
Within Euro area I always suggest Bank transfer, usually very cheap (3E for any amount, check with your Bank)
Transfers in foreign currencies are comparable to a personal check, commission-wise (just safer, because nothing travels in the Post)
WU is expensive for small amounts, so I’d not recommend it (but I have nothing against personally).
